Great view of Lehigh Valley from one of the highest points! You can park close by at the top of the ridge in order to access via a short hike in along state game land. Otherwise, roll the dice on taking a longer trek from the Appalachian Trail further down.
Awesome views. I took my 7 and 4 year old but I probably wouldn't have if I knew how rocky it was. Glad I did because it was awesome!
I've been coming here since I was a local teenager. I stopped going because there was too much graffiti...it was great to go back and see that they scrubbed off the graffiti. I was able to enjoy the view with my children. They seemed to have altered the path as well because it seemed easier to follow. Highly recommend!
Absolutely awesome spot! You can do the hike, or you can drive to the lot and do the light trail (maybe a half to three quarters of a mile?). We did the short walk because of time. Soooo worth it!

You shall be treated with incredibly peaceful views and maybe a show from the hawks. The wind does pick up quite a bit, so make sure to bring some sort of a layer.
Please do not spray paint and graffiti the place up, it's a beautiful place. đ
And bring your kids!!! They'll love it!
My tires got slashed in the parking lot on an overnight on Wednesday 8/16/23. (3 were slashed so we assume it was someone young enough to actually believe the ârumorâ that insurance wonât cover it?) We have enjoyed Bake Oven Knob and Bear Rocks for 20+ years and never had any issues but we have noticed a tremendous increase in graffiti and broken glass all overâŠNow this! Itâs a beautiful place but itâs very disappointing to see what itâs turning into.
Very cool place. The hike is very short, just 5 minutes from parking. Kids can go along.
Video terrible quality I know but let's move past that it was quite foggy but the view is amazing you can see what seems like forever up this mountain it's all graffitied and looks awesome camped here which I do not recommend but the sun rise was beautiful
Iâve been going here my whole entire life. I grew up in Andreas. Continue to take my children since they were very very tiny and still go today with my adult sons.
